Kingdom Artisan Education

Learning as Formation. Knowledge as Craft.

Kingdom Artisan Education is a homeschool curriculum and educational philosophy rooted in a simple conviction: that learning is not the accumulation of information, but the formation of a person.

Our Philosophy

We believe education is a craft — practiced daily, refined over years, and passed from one generation to the next with care and intention. It is work done before God, in the home, with the whole child in mind: their mind, their hands, their character, and their soul.

KAE draws from classical and biblical foundations while remaining grounded in the real, living world that children actually inhabit. We do not prepare children for standardized tests. We prepare them for a life of meaning, mastery, and faithfulness.

The Kingdom.

Education in the KAE model begins with a theological premise: every child is made in the image of a creating God — Imago Dei — and therefore every child is, by nature, a maker, a learner, and a steward. Education is the process of helping them become more fully what they already are.

The Artisan.

An artisan does not hurry. An artisan works with their hands and their mind together. An artisan understands the material, respects the process, and produces something that lasts. KAE invites children into this posture — toward language, toward mathematics, toward science, toward virtue.

The Education.

We believe the home is a school. Not a diminished school, not a second-best school — but the original and most powerful educational environment ever designed. KAE exists to resource and encourage the parents and guardians who have accepted that calling.

About KAE

Kingdom Artisan Education is a project of First Principle Dynamics, founded by Louis Blanche and Alyson Díaz — parents, educators, and builders.

KAE was born from the same question that drives everything we do: What does this look like if we start from first principles?

For us, that question applied to our daughter Monroe's education. The answer became KAE.
